The DRS Signal Solutions business unit recently unveiled the Picoflexor, the company’s next-generation SDR and the industry’s first to contain the Xilinx Zynq-7000 All Programmable SoC devices. The newest SDR from DRS Signal Solutions is facilitated by the combination of iVeia’s Atlas small form factor, low-power processing, and DRS Technologies’ proven high-performance RF technology.

iVeia’s close relationship with Xilinx facilitated an early release of the Zynq™-7000 technology to us. We are well known for high-performing, low size, weight and power (SWaP) RF products on the market. Our development effort with iVeia and Xilinx to integrate the Zynq-7000 devices into our Picoflexor solidifies this leadership position.

We are pleased to be part of this exciting new product. Zynq-7000 offers great value for our applications, as these devices consume considerably less power than two-chip processor plus FPGA configurations for the same use.
