Evatronix SA was founded in 1991 as a value added reseller of PC-based CAD & EDA systems. In 1997 the company started development of electronic virtual components (IP cores). Evatronix is a pioneer in Eastern Europe in the area of HDL-based design and over the last five years it has grown rapidly. Company used Xilinx chips extensively for prototyping its cores and introduced many of these cores to AllianceCore program (through its distributor - CAST, Inc.). This resulted in a substantial experience in an application of Xilinx FPGA technology to digital hardware design. In 2002 company complemented IP core development activities with an extensive offering of design services. They range from simple synthesizable model developments (in VHDL or Verilog) and verification services (including testbench development and code coverage runs) to turnkey FPGA and embedded system design. The company has forty employees. Twenty eight of them are electronic designers.

Sign Once IP Licensing

Since September of 2001, the SignOnce IP License has been the industry's first and only set of common license terms for programmable logic soft IP cores. Xilinx and leading third-party providers have agreed to offer cores to FPGA customers under a common set of terms known as the SignOnce IP License thereby simplifying the process by which customers can access IP from multiple suppliers.
