EdgeQAM Targeted Reference Design

The Xilinx EdgeQAM Targeted Design Platform puts design teams on an accelerated path for bringing to market high-density edge QAM solutions on a single chip. Developed to facilitate compliance with the evolving CCAP specification, the platforms can be configured with either a Xilinx Virtex®-7 or Xilinx Kintex™-7 FPGA and a choice of high-speed DAC FPGA mezzanine cards (FMCs) from two of the industry's leading high-speed DAC vendors. The highly flexible platforms, complete with IP and reference design, enable the agility that cable companies need to cost-effectively evolve higher-density head-end equipment as well as associated test and measurement equipment for the network edge.

Single-Chip, Full Spectrum QAM

  • Deliver 160 channels per RF port, with support for up to six RF ports in a single device
