Faster, Better and More Pixels for All Kinds of Display Systems

Xilinx FPGAs and SoCs, along with IP cores, reference designs and turnkey solutions enable projector manufacturers to adopt 8K and 4K UHD resolutions, higher frame rates, HDR tone mapping and warping capabilities, with room for differentiation and innovation.

Of particular interest is an end-to-end projector solution from Xilinx partner Omnitek, which provides functions such as keystone correction, rotation, barrel and other corrections. Using graphics overlay, a dynamic user mesh update option can also be used for low power, real time distortion and image stitch applications. This flexible approach allows the projector solution to be implemented in the most cost effective Xilinx FPGA or SoC package and allow the most effective design solutions by replacing a significant number of discrete ASIC and ASSP devices that would otherwise be needed.
