Remarkable People

Before I joined Xilinx, I was the Senior Director of Technology at Open-Silicon. I was also a Co-founder and Vice President of Engineering at Zenasis Technologies. And before that (I've been in the industry for 16 years), I worked on advanced technology development at Fujitsu Laboratories of America. I have also authored or co-authored over 40 technical papers and have six granted patents.

I graduated from IIT Kharagpur with a B.Tech (Hons) in Computer Science and Engineering, and got my MS and PhD from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

In my 19 years in the semiconductor industry, I've worked as Site Director and Divisional Director at Conexant, where I focused on VLSI development for their broadband business, with specific attention to DSL chipsets for GPON products. I also worked in various positions at Intel in the United States and Malaysia in the fields of ultra mobile chipsets, image/video processor development and automotive. I hold 19 U.S. patents with another 14 pending.

I received my Bachelor's degree from Osmania University and have earned an ME from IISc Bangalore.

In over ten years at Xilinx, I've contributed to the Embedded Development Kit. I moved my core processes with me to India, and as part of the software group, my team works on core generation processes and DSP domain.

After receiving my Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics), I completed my MS from the University of Cincinnati, with a specialization in computer engineering. While studying in the U.S., I spent four months as a research associate at Georgia Tech, and since then have been published in a number of conference publications and technology journals.

I am responsible for creating reference designs, validating tools used for FPGA designs and providing an environment that allows for the creation of the tools and IPs. I have three patents and have several publications.

Before joining Xilinx, I worked with Atrenta and Motorola, and graduated in Electronics Engineering from IIT Kharagpur.

Before joining Xilinx, I worked with AMD on non-volatile flash memory and at Altera on the Stratix family of FPGAs. I also hold more than 15 U.S. patents and have been published in IEEE and ISSCC journals.

I have a dual degree from BITS, Pilani: an MSc Honours in Physics and a BE Honours in Electrical Engineering. I also hold an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri.

Before joining Xilinx, I led global IT teams at Google in Mountain View. I have been in the IT industry for over 20 years, working for companies like Charles Schwab, Silicon Graphics and Digital Equipment Corp.

I received my BE in Electronics and Telecommunication from Marathwada University in Maharashtra.

Our job is to help debug and fix problems in the design cycle. I'm also responsible for our Solutions Development Engineering team, which develops global training solutions including training literature for all Xilinx tools.

Before joining Xilinx, I worked with Cadence Design Systems in Austin, Texas, and later moved to India to help ramp up Cadence's Global Customer Care centre in Noida. I also had a short stint with Tata Unisys in their marketing department.

After I got my BE in Electronics and Communications from Hindustan College of Engineering, Chennai, I completed my MBA in Marketing from Chennai University. I then went on to get my MS with a specialization in VLSI from Wright State University, Ohio.

Before joining Xilinx, I worked with Axis Bank and Conexant Systems. I also worked with one of India's largest public sectors.

I am a qualified company secretary and a law graduate from Kakatiya University, Warangal. I have also passed the CPA examination in the United States.

I've had more than 16 years of experience in general HR, staffing, compensation and employee relations. Before joining Xilinx, I was the senior HR manager to the field organization at Cadence Design Systems India as well as the site HR representative for their Bangalore office.

I hold an MBA with a specialization in HR from Xavier Institute of Social Service, Ranchi.

Before joining Xilinx, I worked with Convergys Information Management India Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad. I started my career with Saint Gobain Grindwell Norton–Bangalore in various capacities. I'm a graduate Engineer in Electrical and Electronics from Bangalore.

I drive strategic initiatives to build our ecosystem in the India market through Xilinx Alliance Program working with local design and IP houses. I also spearheaded Xilinx FPGA education in universities, and have helped popularize and expand the Xilinx University Program.

Before joining Xilinx, I worked at CoreEl, Synplicity and Memec Asia Pacific in sales as well as technical marketing roles related to semiconductors and EDA. I started my career as an R&D engineer in the factory automation field.

I am actively involved with the India Semiconductor Association on some of its initiatives like India market research and the newly formed ESDM (Electronic System Design and Manufacturing) core groups. I have been quoted in various industry publications and speak at industry forum events.

I am a graduate in Electronics and Telecommunications engineering from Amravati University and have an MBA in Marketing from IME, Pune.
