Singapore is the ideal location for the Xilinx Asia Pacific Regional Headquarters. The city-state contributes 7% of global semiconductor capacity, and with an affinity for technology and emphasis on education, it’s the perfect place for Xilinx to build a strong foundation and grow a respected team of technology leaders.

Our Singapore office is a fully functional regional headquarters with more than 500 employees. From our Singapore offices we fulfill the majority of our customers’ needs in Asia Pacific. The region accounted for 33% of our total revenues in fiscal year 2012. Our team is responsible for operational activities, including product planning, R&D, product testing, supply chain management, shipping logistics, and customer service, as well as regional infrastructure support such as finance, human resources, IT and facilities management.

As part of our long-term plan to shape the next generation of local engineering and business talent, Xilinx collaborates with schools such as National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore University of Technology and Design, Singapore Management University, Ngee Ann Polytechnic University and Republic Polytechnic, donating our technology and time to help students learn best practices and harness the power of Xilinx All Programmable technologies and devices. Enabling tomorrow’s technology leaders is just another example of how Xilinx is making things happen in Singapore.

Our Award-Winning, Eco-Friendly Building

Commitment to the environment is a core value that Xilinx shares with Singapore, and nothing is a greater demonstration of that than our eco-friendly headquarters. Our building is the first privately owned industrial building in Singapore to receive the BCA Green Mark Platinum Award—the highest green building accolade by the Building and Construction Authority. We’re proud of this distinction, but we are even prouder of the benefits it offers to the environment where we work and live.
