Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for system architecture and design-in support for Broadcast customers in Japan with WW support of other regions as needed
• Provide appropriate technical solutions for customer needs - must be capable of creating or communicating high-level conceptual designs
• Understand how Xilinx products fit into Broadcast customers portfolio of products
• Detailed knowledge of Broadcast level camera solutions and capable of being the expert within Xilinx on this market and application space

Job Requirements:

• The successful candidate is required to have a BSEE and 10+ years of experience in broadcast system design & architecture
• Advanced degree a plus
• Previous experience with the Connectivity, CODEC, Image Processing and Transmission technology needed for the Broadcast market
• Familiarity with FPGA design of Broadcast systems or has worked on ASIC designs that can be translated to FPGAs
• Specific knowledge of broadcast and video standards (SMPTE, AES, VSF).
• The candidate should have been a key designer or architect of a commercially released product
• Experience with architecting and designing Broadcast systems such as cameras, switchers, video routers, encoders, up/down converters, film scanners, and NLEs
• Familiar with basic electronic circuits – both analog and digital, digital interfacing, FPGA, microcontroller, and memory hardware
• Travel will be required to customer sites in Japan to support design in activities
• Travel will be required WW for tradeshows and occasionally to support customers in other regions
• Strong communication skills required with the ability to communicate effectively with customers in order to fully understand their needs and clearly convey ideas and concepts
• Ability to write technical white papers and present technical subjects at conferences, tradeshows, standards bodies, etc.
• Must have strong analytical and reasoning skills along with proficient mathematical skills

Job Responsibilities:

• Marketing plan development, execution, measurement and adjustment
• Product positioning and messaging to Japan market

This position will provide field application services of PLD products (FPGA/CPLD) to customers. The person has strong knowledge of the Xilinx’s products and solutions. Its technical area includes design methodology, IPs, serial/parallel interfaces, and embedded processing (processors, DSPs).

Job Responsibilities:

• Frequently visit customers, make presentations, and work at customers’ site. Frequent business trips are required
• Responsible for pre-sales and design win of assigned customers by analyzing customers’ needs and proposing technical solutions to customers
• Provide post-sales engineering support including debugging by simulation and measurement by equipments such as oscilloscopes
• Work closely with various internal engineering organizations in the company to analyze and solve engineering issues
• Work with various internal organizations including sales, quality assurance, and marketing

Job Requirements:

• Have electronic design expertise in Verilog or VHDL
• At least 3 years of experiences in FPGA or ASIC is highly preferred
• Experiences in other logic devices such as processors or ASSPs are plus

You will have a leading role in the specification and implementation of wireless and signal processing FPGA-based IP cores, systems, application notes and reference designs. You will be involved in all aspects of development, from concept to customer release and beyond. All developments are highly optimized for Xilinx FPGAs and you will be working with the latest FPGA technology, often before it is publicly announced.

You will have a high level of experience in the digital communications application space, both at the systems and detailed design implementation levels. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering state-of-the-art ASIC and/or FPGA solutions.
