This release (originally known as 4.x IP Update #1) includes new and updated IP, as well as software updates to Xilinx® CORE Generator™ v4.1i, including: 

• The latest version of the IP Capture Tool, which allows you to 

package your own fixed netlist cores
• The new CORE Generator Updates Installer, which will 

make installing future CORE Generator Updates easier 

You must update to the 4.1i Xilinx Software before installing this software/IP update. 

Note: To access the CORE Generator Software/IP Update download files, you will be asked to Register (once) and then to sign-in to the IP Download Lounge. 
 
 

IMPORTANT NOTE: 4.1i IP Update #1 (released November 2001) is only compatible with the Xilinx v4.1i Release Software. If you have already updated to the Xilinx v4.2i software release, you already have all the cores included in this IP update. Refer to the 4.2i IP Update page for information on IP updates available for 4.2i.  Do NOT install this 4.x IP Update #1 over Xilinx ISE v4.2i - they are incompatible!
