License Environment Variable
In some situations, it may be desirable to place the licenses somewhere other than your HOMEDRIVE (Windows) or HOME (UNIX and Linux) directrory. If this is the case, you will need to set up an environment variable called XIL_CG_LICENSE_DIR to point to the directory where you place the license files in order to make the LogiCORE™ IP licenses work properly.
For example, on Windows platforms, if you installed license files at:
C:\<your-install-dir>\.Xilinx\Coregen\CoreLicenses\*.lic,
you should set up XIL_CG_LICENSE_DIR to:
C:\<your-install-dir>\.Xilinx\Coregen\CoreLicenses
