If your IP license installation is not working, please review the following checklist to help debug your installation:
- Did you install the archive to the proper location?
- See the instructions documented in this
link.
- Are
you generating the core on the machine for which the license was generated?
- If the license has been generated for a particular machine,
the core can only be generated (using either XPS or Core Generator™ as appropriate) on that same machine.
- Have you
requested the license for the correct product, and have you confirmed
that it is the correct licensing level (Simulation-Only, Hardware
Evaluation, or Full)?
- 7.1i and Later Versions of CORE Generator:
- To check on the licensing status for a specific core, right
click on the core in the CORE Generator catalog panel and select View License Status.
- 6.3i and Later Versions of XPS:
- Add the core to your project (or MHS file), then from within
the XPS GUI, right click on the IP core in the System tab in XPS
and select "View CoreLicense Status" to view
the license status information for that core and check for inconsistencies
between the reported settings for the host ID, licensed product
name and licensing level ("Hardware Evaluation" or "Full/Bought").

for an OPB PCI core would look like.
