The Virtex™-5 ML555 Development Kit is a LogiCORE™ development platform for PCI™/PCI-X™ based on the Virtex-5 platform FPGA. Included with the purchase of the ML555 development kit is 90-day access to Full System Hardware Evaluation versions of these Xilinx cores:

• After purchasing the ML555 Design Kit, you will receive the design kit board a purchase confirmation letter in the mail. At the bottom of the letter there will be a Product Lounge Registration ID number. If you did not receive your letter and need assistance, please contact your local Xilinx Sales Representative.
  
  
  • Generate the Evaluation License Keys
    • Click here to Generate the Evaluation License Keys.
    • Please Note:
      • The Product Lounge ID number you will need to enter to complete the license key generation process may only be used for a single request. The ID allows you to generate a single 90-day license key for one Host ID.
• Install the license key(s) as directed in the e-mail you will receive.
• Start up the ISE™ CORE Generator™
• To access the core, double click the "Bus Interface" folder in the left hand panel of the CORE Generator GUI, then double click the "PCI" folder.
• Select the desired options for the appropriate LogiCORE Interface, then click the Generate button.
• The following support files are generated:
  • .veo, .vho, .xco, .xcp, and <core_name>_flist.txt,
  • a subdirectory named <core_name>, and
  • a README file, readme_<core_name>.txt, with additional details.
• Refer to the generated README file for instructions on running the demo implementation script included with the core.
