The core does not support oversampling, so line rates below 500 Mb/s are not supported. - Enhancement: Added a new RX Sampling Point control to the MGT/BERT Settings panel of the IBERT console that allows you to adjust the PMA_CDR_SCAN attribute. - Enhancement: Modified the reset circuit to use system clock instead of the RXRECCLK since the recovered clock can stop without notice, thus holding the MGT in reset. - Bug fix: Fixed a problem where the IBERT Console would not load properly if used in a Virtex-5 SXT device. o Virtex-4 FX Changes: - Bug fix: Fixed the reset circuit for low line rates. - Bug fix: Fixed a problem where LINK would never work when using CLK1/20X data pattern and 8b/10b encoding. - Bug fix: Fixed a problem where the calculated line rate would sometimes show Gbps instead of Mbps. ---------------------------------- 9.1.01i Service Pack Release Notes ---------------------------------- o General: - Enhancement: Added IBERT support for the Virtex-5 LXT/SXT GTP transceiver. - Enhancement: Added support for the Agilent Serial Link Optimizer tool. Go to http://www.agilent.com/find/fpga for more information. - Known issue: To ensure IBERT design generation completes successfully for all user clock pins on all Virtex-4 FX device packages, set the environment variable XIL_PLACE_ALLOW_LOCAL_BUFG_ROUTING = 1. o Analyzer - Known issue: The new 7-bit PRBS polynomial was inadvertently enabled for all versions of the IBERT core, even though it only works in version 8.2.02i and beyond. The work-around for this issue is to not use the "Alt 7 Bit PRBS" pattern selection with older IBERT designs. ---------------------------------- 9.1i CD Release Notes ---------------------------------- o General: - Known issue: To ensure IBERT design generation completes successfully for all user clock pins on all Virtex-4 FX device packages, set the environment variable XIL_PLACE_ALLOW_LOCAL_BUFG_ROUTING = 1. o Analyzer - Known issue: The new 7-bit PRBS polynomial was inadvertently enabled for all versions of the IBERT core, even though it only works in version 8.2.02i and beyond.
