Creating VCD Files in Project Navigator

What to do First

Open your project in Project Navigator.

To Create VCD Files

1. Select the test bench or test fixture in the Source window of ISE.

2. Highlight Simulate Post-Place & Route VHDL Model in the Process window.

3. Right click and select Properties.

4. Select Simulation Properties.

5. Scroll down and select Generate VCD File.

What to Expect

Project Navigator creates a VCD file.
