Utilizing the Spartan-6 FPGA Family, Avnet introduces the first-ever battery-powered Xilinx FPGA development board, the Xilinx Spartan-6 LX16 Evaluation Kit. The Xilinx Spartan-6 LX16 Evaluation Kit includes the Cypress PSoC® 3 Programmable System on Chip with embedded 8051. PSoC is a programmable device with programmable analog and digital peripherals, some of which control the regulation and load switches in the battery-powered system.
