Virtex-II Pro development AFX platforms allow designers to experiment with the implementation of embedded applications.

Xilinx Virtex®-II Pro Prototype AFX-FG456 board allows designers to investigate and experiment with the features of the Virtex-II Pro devices in FG456 package. The AFX-FG456 board can be used for implementing applications in Virtex-II Pro FPGAs using the industry's fastest FPGA logic, flexible embedded multipliers, dual port block RAM, digital clock managers, XCITE digitally controlled impedance technology, SelectIO™ Ultra single-ended and differential parallel I/Os, and embedded PowerPC® processors.

Important: The AFX board should NOT be used when designing with or characterizing RocketIO™ transceivers (please contact Xilinx representatives for the availability of ML32x boards).
