The XtremeDSP™ development platform — Virtex®-5 ML506 FPGA edition is a feature-rich DSP general purpose evaluation and development platform. Though economically priced, the ML506 offers users the ability to create DSP based and high speed serial designs utilizing the Virtex-5 FPGA DSP48E slices and RocketIO™ GTP transceivers. A variety of on-board memories and industry standard connectivity interfaces add to the ML506’s ability to serve as a versatile development platform for embedded applications.
