Reduced latency dynamic random access memory (RLDRAM II) was co-developed by Micron Technology and Infineon Technologies. RLDRAM II offers high density, high bandwidth, reduced cycle time, and SRAM-like access. The unique internal memory architecture allows ultra-fast random access, closing the gap between DRAM and SRAM. These attributes make RLDRAM II ideal for switch and router applications and other high-bandwidth, high-speed, and latency-sensitive applications.
