The AVDP is designed for low-risk development and prototyping of high performance video algorithms based around the PCI Express® (PCIe®) interface. As well as a high performance board, the package also includes an extensive set of VHDL source code for a variety of complex image processing functions, plus a software API and drivers operating under the Windows XP® or Windows Vista® operating systems. The card itself is available with a range of input/output options, including SD/HD/3G-SDI, DVB-ASI, analog component or composite video.
