Digital image processing enhances the overall viewing aesthetics of the displayed images. The Spartan-3E FPGA provides an ideal platform for a wide variety of display applications as it supports high-speed LVDS, RSDS, and mini-LVDS, and memory technology interconnects such as DDR/DDR2 memory.
The Spartan-3E Display Development Kit helps with developing functional references for:
- Color temperature correction
- Precise gamma correction
- Image dither engine (IDE)
- Noise reduction
- Sharpness enhancement
