The Xilinx MOST® NIC IP core is ideally suited for automotive electronics applications which need to achieve higher level integration of consumer multi-media and infotainment features. Through user configurable options, the Xilinx MOST core delivers customized design blocks optimized specifically for your automotive gateway and infotainment systems. The MOST core allows synchronous data to be transported in real time while the Xilinx FPGA's high performance DSPs perform real time DSP operations such as audio and video processing, filtering, and noise cancellation. The core can be used in stand-alone mode or connected to Xilinx MicroBlaze™ or PowerPC™ processors with drivers and net services included. The MOST core is designed to the MOST specification 2.4 and validated in hardware to enable users to quickly deliver affordable FPGA-based automotive systems.
