The Xilinx Video Processing Pack provides low cost bundled licensing for the seven LogiCORE™ IP blocks listed in the key features section. These IP blocks provide optimized hardware implementations for critical functions related to video processing operations like video scaling, on-screen display, picture-in-picture, text overlay, video and image analysis and others.

  • Provides full licenses to the following LogiCORE IP cores: Video Scaler, Video Timing Controller, Video DMA, On-Screen Display, Image Characterization, Object Segmentation and Motion Adaptive Noise Reduction

Full system License files for five Xilinx LogiCORE™s listed in the key features section.
 
2. What are the target applications for this product?
Target applications include video processing applications like scaling, on-screen display, picture-in-picture and others in surveillance, machine vision, video conferencing, medical, Aerospace and Defense, Consumer, Broadcast and Automotive products.
 
3. What is the availability, cost and licensing terms for the Video Processing Pack?
The Video Processing Pack core (EF-DI-VID-PROC-PACK) is available now. Licensing terms are provided under the "Sign Once" licensing agreement. Please contact your Xilinx Sales Representative for pricing information.
 
4. What are the FPGA resource requirements for the Video Processing Pack, and are there any features that can be omitted to reduce this?
Resource requirements vary depending on bit depth, processor interface selected, cores implemented, Xilinx FPGA device used and other factors. Please see the individual LogiCORE datasheets for resources estimates for each core. Individual cores can be omitted to reduce the FPGA resource requirements.
 
5. How can I evaluate the core?
The Video Processing Pack can be evaluated by evaluating each of the individual LogiCOREs described in the "Key Features" section of the  EF-DI-VID-PROC-PACK product page.
