How do I generate a license key to activate this IP product?
Full access to this fee-based LogiCORE™ IP core, including bitstream generation capability, requires that you generate and install a
Full License Key.
Before Licensing your Core:
- You must purchase a license for the core:
- You must install and apply all required software and IP updates to the ISE® Design Suite product.
- Information on software and IP Update requirements can be found on the product page for the core
- Information on installing and licensing any required Xilinx ISE or EDK software can be found in the Installation, Licensing and Release Notes document for the specific release, which is available on this page:

If you are the Xilinx Licensing Account Administrator for your site
- Navigate to the Xilinx.com Product Licensing Site and sign in.
- All LogiCORE IP products for which your company site has purchased a license will be visible in the product table in the Create New Licenses tab.
- Generate a Full license key for the core and install it following the instructions in the license email you will receive.
- For CORE Generator™ IP Cores:
- Start up the ISE CORE Generator software and use the keyword search capability to locate and start using the core.
- For EDK IP Cores:
- Start up EDK and add the core to your system following the instructions in the EDK user documentation
If you are not the Xilinx account administrator for your site
- Please contact your license administrator to ask to be added to the Product Licensing Account for your site, then follow the steps above
