The TC (Timer/Counter) is a 32-bit timer module that attaches to the OPB (On-Chip Peripheral Bus). It includes two programmable interval timers with interrupt, event generation, and event capture capabilities. It also includes a Pulse Width Modulator (PWM) output and a configurable counter width. Each of the two timer modules is capable of holding the initial value of the counter for event generation or capture a value based on the mode of the timer. This IP core is one of more than 20 IP cores that are part of the Embedded Development Kit.
