Quality Manual

The Xilinx Quality Manual describes our quality system, which is structured around ISO 9001:2000, TL 9000, TS16949, Military (QML), and other industry standards to plan, produce, and review all activities and processes related to Xilinx' integrated circuit products. This document applies to the design, manufacture, and testing of programmable logic devices, CPLDs, and configuration devices.

Device Reliability Report

Whenever possible, Xilinx leverages industry standards to minimize unique requirements and manufacture quality and reliability into our products. Our Reliability Monitor Program ensures that product performance meets or exceeds reliability specifications dictated by internal programs as well as external standards and individual customer requirements. Monitor take samples from finished goods. Program results are published in the quarterly Device Reliability Report.

Process Control Quality System: Maverick Lot

Xilinx established and implemented a process focused on preventing quality issues at all manufacturing facilities. This Maverick Lot program aims to obtain the highest product yields, quality, and reliability by using cause and effect analysis to minimize significant sources of variability.

Corrective and Preventative Action

Xilinx conducts true root cause analysis to resolve problems. We see problems as opportunities for improvement. Together with subcontractors and suppliers we employ the team-based Eight Discipline (8D) investigative approach and then follow through with a data driven approach to develop permanent and effective solutions.

Internal Audit Program

Xilinx regularly plans and implements internal quality audits of quality activities to confirm their effectiveness and adherence to defined procedures. Management personnel are responsible for the timely correction of deficiencies in their area.
