XILINX CHIPS ENABLE VESTEL’S NEXT-GENERATION FLAT PANEL DISPLAY AND VIDEO ENHANCEMENT SOLUTIONS
Xilinx programmable Spartan-3E FPGAs provide a low-cost flexible solution for European’s largest television manufacturer
LAS VEGAS, NV., January 8, 2007 – At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) today, Xilinx, Inc. (NASDAQ:XLNX), the world’s leading programmable logic supplier announced today that Vestel Electronics, the largest television manufacturer in Europe, has chosen Xilinx Spartan™-3E field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) for its latest flat panel display and video enhancement solutions. Xilinx low-cost, high-volume programmable devices provide leading consumer manufacturers such as Vestel Electronics with ultimate design flexibility and faster time-to-market. CES attendees can view the latest Vestel digital display solutions January 9-12 in Booth # 4505 at the Sand Venetian Marcello.
