(NASDAQ:XLNX), announced today a live webcast on Wednesday, December 11, 2002 at 9:00 a.m. pacific, 12:00 p.m. eastern entitled "Backplane Basics: From PCI to Serial Switched Fabrics." The live webcast is the latest solution in the Xilinx High-Speed Serial Initiative initiative to help designers in making the inevitable move from parallel to serial connectivity.
