Dr. Howard Johnson, renowned signal integrity expert and author
of High-Speed Digital Design: A Handbook of Black Magic. Dr. Johnson
will explore the latest innovations that minimize signal integrity
issues in high-performance FPGA-based systems.
Included will be discussion on advanced FPGAs that incorporate large
numbers of high-speed I/O pins, enabling the construction of high-bandwidth
interfaces. Dr. Johnson will explain how a well-designed IC package
is critical for controlling system noise, due to fast edge rates
and simultaneously switching outputs. He will reveal his measurable
data showing how FPGAs, in a well designed package, can control
system noise.
