Xilinx to Demonstrate Latest CPLD Solutions at
Wireless Systems Design Conference & Expo 2004
What: Xilinx Participation at Wireless Systems
Design Conference & Expo 2004
Where: San Diego Convention Center, San Diego,
Calif. Xilinx Booth #423
When: Monday, March 8, through Wednesday, March
10, 2004.
Xilinx, Inc. (NASDAQ: XLNX), today announced its involvement in
the Wireless Systems Design Conference & Expo 2004, March 8
– 10, 2004 at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego,
California. The industry gathering examines the development of wireless
systems from a true system-level with a focus on both hardware and
software. Wireless Systems Design 2004 explores the technology of
the traditional wireless staple - the cell phone - but also examines
base stations, software defined radios, antennas, digital signal
processors and the wireless Internet as they pertain to such applications
as medical, automotive and security.
In booth #423, Xilinx will demonstrate how CoolRunner™-II
CPLDs enable smart and secure wireless solutions. Xilinx developed
the CoolRunner-II RealDigital technology to enable cost-saving system
integration and reconfigurability in wireless and portable systems.
The CoolRunner-II family provides the high performance and low cost
advantages of a programmable device without the typical price premium
normally associated with low power devices. Available in densities
ranging from 32 to 512 macrocells, the CoolRunner-II family achieves
performance as up to 385 MHz and pin-to-pin delays as fast as 3.0ns
while providing a standby current as low as 12 microamps (<12mA)
-- an industry first. Stop by the Xilinx booth to see the newest
Xilinx CPLD Design Kit and the low cost, high performance benefits
of the latest developments in CPLDs.
