XILINX WINS TOP TEN BEST WEB SUPPORT SITE SECOND YEAR IN A ROW

Xilinx Earns Top Ratings in All Major Categories in
Association of Support Professionals Survey

SAN JOSE, Calif., July 21, 2004 - Xilinx, Inc. (NASDAQ: XLNX), the world's leading programmable logic supplier, today announced the company's technical support website, MySupport.xilinx.com, has won the "Ten Best Web Support Sites of 2004" award by the Association of Support Professionals (ASP) for the second year running. The competition showcases excellence in online service and support. Web sites were evaluated in terms of design, knowledge base implementation and interactive features, to name a few. The Open Division winners, featuring MySupport.xilinx.com, also include other websites from Apple and Hewlett-Packard.

To select the "Ten Best Web Support Sites of 2004" winners, a panel of judges with expertise in Web support design and implementation evaluated companies on 25 individual performance criteria. Sites were judged on overall usability, design, navigation, and knowledge base, as well as search implementation, interactive features, personalization and major site development. Xilinx consistently scored highly in each of the individual performance criteria.
