CUSTOMER SUPPORT SERVICES IN ASIA PACIFIC
Asia Pacific technical support hotline, 18-seat
customer-training center,
and Simplified Chinese support website development located in Shanghai

SINGAPORE, February 1, 2005 - Xilinx Inc. (NASDAQ: XLNX) today
announced the expansion of its award-winning customer support services
in Asia Pacific in line with its aggressive growth plans for the
region and in China. Based in the company's Shanghai office, the
additional services offerings include:
- The company's Asia Pacific technical support hotline provides
access to Xilinx support engineers via the web, email and phone
for product details, design tips and technical support issues.
Customers in China, Taiwan, Korea, ASEAN, India and Australia/NZ
can now receive general technical support assistance in English
and Mandarin in the Asia Pacific time zone. Korean-language support
will be ready by late 2005. Customer can contact the hotline via

- An 18-seat customer-training center will provide a broad range
of world-class Xilinx programmable logic design courses for FPGAs,
CPLDs, low-cost design, Embedded Systems, DSP, Multi-Gigabit Transceivers,
and HDLs. Xilinx-trained engineers will be able to produce an
FPGA design in less time and optimize system-level benefits for
