3.3i FPGA Editor - Editing an IOB block leads to "FATAL_ERROR:Ncd:bascmtform.c:161:1.4 - Unable to find button PCI33_5..."

General Description:
When modifying an IOB in FPGA Editor for a Virtex-E design, attempting to save
the design causes FPGA Editor to crash. Sometimes FPGA Editor crashes with no
message; other times, the following error message is encountered:

FATAL_ERROR:Ncd:bascmtform.c:161:1.4 - Unable to find button PCI33_5
on primitive IOATTRBOX in cell IOB.
Process will terminate. To resolve this error, please consult the Answers
Database and other online resources at http://support.xilinx.com


This problem is fixed in the latest 3.1i Service Pack available at:
http://support.xilinx.com/support/techsup/sw_updates. The first
service pack containing the fix is 3.1i Service Pack 7.
