From the timing report, if I click the "<design>_map.ncd" link, Floorplanner issues a warning reporting that "<design>_map.ngd' does not exist.

Solution

This is an accurate warning, as the file does not actually exist.

The ".ngd" file generated by Project Navigator does not include the "_map" in the name; consequently, you must manually browse to locate the "<design>.ngd" file once Floorplanner opens.
