When I use the Turns Engine, the remote nodes are not able to run PAR, and the following error is reported:
"/bin/sh: par: not found"
PAR uses RSH to start a copy of itself on remote nodes. It expects that $XILINX/bin/sol is in the PATH environment variable on the remote nodes. The error message above occurs if this is not the case.
The local environment variables do not propagate to the remote nodes; instead, they must be created on them.
Either include $XILINX/bin/sol in the PATH in your ".cshrc" if the default shell is a CSH derivative, or in your environment set-up script if using a Bourne-derived shell. For more information on this, please see (Xilinx Answer 12449).
