An installation directory path for EDK cannot include spaces between the characters.

Solution

When choosing a user-defined location for the EDK software, select a path that does not contain any spaces.

The following example illustrates a path name that incorrectly contains spaces:

C:\Program Files\EDK


Also, projects cannot contain spaces in their directory structure.
