Solution
The following environment variables are based on C-Shell syntax and must be set in the user log-in script or command line each time you open a new shell in a Linux/WINE environment running the Xilinx 4.2i tools:C Shell:
1. setenv XILINX "c:\Xilinx".
2. setenv XIL_LINUX_WINE 1.
