General Description:
When I perform a functional simulation using the Accumulator 5.0 core in ModelSim XE 5.5b, the following errors are reported:

# ERROR: Could not find D:/Tools/Xilinx/m4.1i/mxe5.5b/win32xoem/../xilinx/vhdl/xilinxcorelib.c_accum_v5_0
# ERROR: mac_xlaccum_core1.vhd(39): cannot find expanded name: xilinxcorelib.c_accum_v5_0
# ERROR: mac_xlaccum_core1.vhd(39): Unknown field: c_accum_v5_0.
# ERROR: mac_xlaccum_core1.vhd(84): VHDL Compiler exiting
# ERROR: D:/Tools/Xilinx/m4.1i/mxe5.5b/win32xoem/vcom failed.

Similar errors will be issued for other cores as well.

Another work-around is to download and re-install the new VHDL zip file that was released on October 20, 2001. If you are concerned about having enough disk space, delete the entire xilinx\vhdl\xilinxcorelib\*.* directory before installing the new zip file.
