2.0 eProduct Designer - Opening an ePD Core on Windows 98 causes error messages regarding the setting of XILINX and EPDCORE variables

Keywords: Windows 98, ePD Core, Innoveda, environment variable

Urgency: Standard

General Description:
When I try to open an ePD Core on Windows 98, the following error message occurs:

"Please set the 'XILINX' environment variable and restart 'DashBoard'."

After I click "OK", another window pops up that reports:

"Please set the 'EPDCORE' environment variable and restart "DashBoard'."

However, when I set these variables, the problem is still not fixed.

This problem has occurred only with Windows 98, and there is no known way to work around this issue at this time.

The ePD Core works correctly on both Windows NT and Windows 2000 operating systems.
