6.1i CORE Generator - Is there any way to control the shape of RPM cores?

General Description

In CORE Generator, is there a way to specify the desired shape of the core when generating the core with RPM?

Currently, there is no way for users to specify the desired shape of a core.

The Xilinx Cores group has received a number of requests for the ability to specify the shape of the RPM (long and thin, square, L-shaped, or wide and flat). Customers have also asked to be able to specify the range of relative CLB locations, and to specify this by means of the number of rows and columns to be occupied.

A Change Request has been filed, and the request is being reviewed.
