When I analyze a VHDL design, the following error occurs:
"ERROR:HDLParsers:837 - <file>.vhd Line xx. Index size for dimension <Y> of <port> is not <N>."
This error occurs if the size of a vector or array differs between the component declaration and the entity declaration. The value of Y will be 1, unless the port is a multi-dimensional array.
To solve this problem, change the declaration(s) so that the sizes of the vectors or arrays match after they are evaluated by the XST parser.
