System ACE MPM configures the last chain, but one or more of the other chains are not configuring properly.
iMPACT incorrectly creates an interleaved slave serial file that is dependent upon the size of the last serial chain contained in the configuration data sets. All chains that are longer than the last serial chain will be incorrectly truncated to match the size of the last serial chain. When a bit stream location that contains truncated data is selected (using BITSTRSEL), the serial chain will fail to configure correctly (DONE will not go High).
To work around this issue, ensure that the last serial chain in the data set is the longest. If it is not, add dummy bit files to the end of the chain to ensure that the file length for the last chain is the longest. The additional dummy bits will simply be passed through the chain and have no effect on the configuration.
This problem is fixed in the latest 5.1i Service Pack, available at:
The first service pack containing the fix is 5.1i Service Pack 1.
