5.1i Install - After "setXenv.bat" is run for a PC Network Client installation, the Program Groups and Registry are not set

After I run "setXenv.bat" for a PC Network Client installation, the Program Groups and Registry entries are not set on the client machine.

Solution

(This issue affects network client installations only.)

This issue was fixed in the latest 5.1i Service Pack, which is available at:
http://support.xilinx.com/support/techsup/sw_updates.
The first service pack containing the fix is 5.1i Service Pack 1.

Update the server installation with the latest service pack, then re-run "setXenv.bat" from the Client as an administrator.

If you cannot install the latest service pack, download this http://www.xilinx.com/txpatches/pub/applications/misc/answer_15451.zip file and unzip it into your server's <xilinx_directory>\.xinstall. (Note that this is a "dot" xinstall), then re-run "setXenv.bat" from the Client as administrator.
