5.1i iMPACT, 18V00 - "Programming Failed" is reported during a program/verify operation on a device chain set in concurrent mode

General Description:

When a chain containing both an 18V00 PROM and FPGA(s) is programmed and verified using the iMPACT JTAG "Concurrent Programming" method, the software reports:

"ERROR:iMPACT:1353 - ACD entry ERASE_PROGRESS_COUNT not found for device family xxx.

EXCEPTION:iMPACT:ConstraintsManager.c:370:1.26 - Data not found.

ERROR:iMPACT:636 - performOperation() failed!"

If you individually program and verify the devices (sequentially) on the same chain, the process works correctly. To set iMPACT for sequential mode, go to Edit -> Preferences and un-check the "Concurrent Mode" box.

This problem is fixed in the latest 5.1i Service Pack, available at:

The first service pack containing the fix is 5.1i Service Pack 2.
