What is the power consumption of the SPI4.2 Lite v2.0.1 core?

Solution

The following power consumption numbers were obtained using XPower v6.1i. The simulation result from the design example provided with the core was used for the power estimation. However, since it is not possible to annotate simulation activity to all the internal nodes, the default activity rates of 12% and 25% were used in the XPower setting. The power consumption of the SPI-4.2 core varies greatly on the data traffic.
