Schematic - How do I specify a bidirectional I/O in my schematic?

Description

Using schematic entry, how do I create a bidirectional I/O?

Solution

To create a bidirectional I/O, place an IOPAD (or I/O Port) in your schematic, and then, connect the input of an input element (such as an IBUF or IFD) and the output of a "tri-stateable" output element (such as OBUFT, OBUFE, OFDE, OFDT) to this pad.
