Does DCR share the same range of PLB/OPB space? What is the addressable range for DCR?
Solution
The DCR address range is different from the PLB and OPB space.
There is a 10-bit DCR address bus from the PowerPC Processor Block. Consequently, the DCR addressable range for the DCR peripheral should be 0x000 ~ 0x3FF. Note that these addresses are aligned to a word (32-bit) boundary, and the PLB/OPB space addresses are aligned to byte.
