Description

Keywords: PACE, constraints, editor, pins

Urgency: Standard

General Description:
When I use the Constraints Editor to create physical constraints in the UCF, PACE does not display these new constraints. After reading in the UCF, PACE also deletes the constraints.

Solution

When the Constraints Editor writes out bus delimiters, they are based upon the NGD. When PACE reads in this bus delimiter, it does not understand this, and thus removes these constraints from the UCF. If you have PACE read in the NGD file, this issue should not be a problem. You can also open the " __pace.ucf" file in the working directory, which is the backup file of the original UCF.
