6.1i ISE - The CPLD Fitter report is not available through Project Navigator if the design fails to fit

General Description:
Running the Fitter Report process in Project Navigator does not work when CPLDFit does not successfully fit my design. Double-clicking the "Fitter Report" causes the fit to fail, which prevents access to the Fitter Report in either text or HTML.
Solution
This problem is manifested in one of two ways, as follows:In the first case, the text (*.rtp) files and the .html report files are not created.
This problem has been fixed in the latest 6.2i Service Pack available at:
http://support.xilinx.com/xlnx/xil_sw_updates_home.jsp
The first service pack containing the fix is 6.2i Service Pack 2.
In the second case, only the *.html report is not created.
You can work around this issue, by opening the text report file by selecting File -> Open -> *.rpt, and then selecting the appropriate report file.
This problem is fixed in the 6.2i Service Pack 2, which will be available in April 2004.
