I used XMIL to target the ML361 board. I ran "dopar.bat" and created a ".bit" file from the result. When I download the ".bit" file created for the ML361 board by XMIL tool, I do not get a "PP" displayed indicating my memory test passed. Instead, just one LED lights up.
This is because the source files created by the XMIL tool are not the same as those which are shipped with the ML361 board.
A ".bit" file created from the "output .ncd" from "dopar.bat" will light "LED1" to indicate that the memory interface is working.
