6.1i Install- Linux install fails with - bash: ./setup: /bin/sh: bad interpreter: Permission denied

Description: When I insert my Linux CD's and run the setup command, I receive

the following error: bash: ./setup: /bin/sh: bad interpreter: Permission denied

This appears to be an issue with how a user has configured their Machine. The installer uses executables and may need the CD mount parameters to have the 'exec' option set. The parameters file is usually located in /etc directory and is called fstab.

Look for the line starting with /dev/cdrom and modify it as below: /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom-exe iso9660 defaults, noauto, users, exec 0 0

Most users will not need this "exec" option to use the CDROM.
