If the instruction "BRI 0" is running from slow memory, can MicroBlaze acknowledge an interrupt?

Solution

When MicroBlaze is executing a "BRI 0" instruction from slow memory, no interrupts are acknowledged.

This problem is fixed in the latest 6.1 EDK Service Pack, available at:
http://www.xilinx.com/ise/embedded/edk.htm.
The first service pack containing the fix is EDK 6.1 Service Pack 2.

You can also work around for this problem by not using the "BRI 0" instruction. For C code, this would mean to not use the following:
